I was supposed to run between 6 and 6.1 at 1% incline for 6 miles and then stretch "good". Tomorrow is off. Thursday I get to run hard, sort of. I ran all but a mile of it between 6.4 and 7...still felt unworked. But I know there will be days that will be way too hard, right?

The stretching was good and I ventured to some weights for my arms, since I didn't do it yesterday. I'm having a hard time "trusting the plan" as my coach has asked me to do.

In the overall plan, the miles crescendo nicely, eventually up to 60 a week for a few weeks, then back down before Boston. But this week is my first week and it's only 30. I wonder if he thinks I am A) 30 and B) out of shape.

I am very hard to coach so I am trying to be good. Hey. If I wasn't I would have ran 11 today in 100 minutes. But the incline is good. I should always have an incline on my treadmill.
